Mission

The purpose of this organization shall be; to maintain association of persons interested in libraries, to focus public attention of the Library, to stimulate the use of the Libraries resources and services, to receive and encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests to the Library, to support and cooperate with the Library in developing library services and facilities for the community, to lend legislative support where need, and to support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association Bill of Rights.

Volunteers are always welcome and needed for all the many tasks required to maintain The ODL. The addition of your particular skill to our volunteer list would be most appreciated.

The ODL relies solely on donations from friends like you.  As our volunteers are unpaid, 100% of the donations received go to the caring and feeding of the books and maintaining the ODL facilities.  Your support is urgently needed now to continue the ODL mission.  By making a tax deductible gift, you will enable the ODL volunteers to assist in the work of the Library.
